General Terms and Conditions Aparthotel Sterngucker
Version: 2018/2019

The following are the General Terms and Conditions of Aparthotel Sterngucker. These apply to all bookings made with Aparthotel Sterngucker and to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions. No rights can be derived from prices quoted.

1. Rental period
All rental prices are in euro and per week. A week begins from Saturday 16:00 and ends the following Saturday at 10:00 No claim can be laid on the accommodation before the stipulated time. No claim can be laid on the accommodation after the stipulated time.

2. Confirmation and payment 
The booking request will be checked by Aparthotel Sterngucker in its booking System and will be forwarded on Top-Chalets. The booking request will be handled by Top-Chalets – Eerste Tochtweg 28a – 2913 LP Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel – The Netherlands.
Paymentconditions of Top-Chalets
A deposit of 50% of the amount stated in the confirmation must be paid into the bank account of Top-Chalets no later than 14 days after the confirmation date. The remaining amount must be paid into the bank account of Top-Chalets no later than 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. If a booking is made within 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, full payment as per confirmation has to be made to Top-Chalets at once. Failure to pay the amounts owed on time will result in the issue of a reminder notice by Top-Chalets. Failure to comply with the instruction to pay these amounts into the bank account of Top-Chalets within a period of 14 days of the reminder notice will result in the agreement being cancelled. In this instance, Top-Chalets will charge costs as set out in the section Cancellation.

3. Cancellation 
If the agreement is cancelled, the person who made the booking will owe the following cancellation charges in addition to the booking fees:
A. when cancelled up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, 50% of the amount stated in the confirmation.
B. when cancelled within 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, 100% of the amount stated in the confirmation.
C. If the accommodation is left prematurely, the person who made the booking continues to owe the full rental amount.

4. Accommodation rental in winter
The following are included in the rental price of a holiday accommodation with Aparthotel Sterngucker:
A. gas, water and light consumption
B. one parkingspace

The following are not included, but compulsory in the rental price of a holiday accommodation with Aparthotel Sterngucker:
A. bed linen hire and 2 towels (incl. making beds): € 18,50,-
B. final cleaning costs:
2-4 Persons: € 65,-
5-7 Persons: € 80,-
8-10 Persons: € 100,-
8-10*  Persons: € 100,-
10-12 Persons: € 120,-
C. booking fees: € 30,-
D. extra towls: € 2,50
E. local tourist tax
All compulsory costs will be charged in advance by Top-Chalets.
F. travel cot and high chair: a travel cot (exclusive of matrass, duvet and bethclothes) and high chair are available on request for your little ones, free of charge.

5. Local tourist tax
A local tourist tax is payable in Wald/Königsleiten and Hochkrimml. Top-Chalets will charge for this in advance in its confirmation/invoice. The charges are as follows:
Adults and children ab 15 years and older: € 2,- per person per day
Children up to 14 years old: € 1,- per person per day

6. Pets
No pets are allowed in any of the apartments of Aparthotel Sterngucker.

7. Parking
Parking in the car park is only permitted in the hired spaces clearly indicated by name and number.

8. House rules
Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation.
Deep-frying is not allowed in the accomodation.
You are not allowed to walk around in ski boots in the accommodation.
Every accommodation has a designated storage area for skis and ski boots.
You are expected to separate and remove household rubbish, bottles, paper etc.
You are expected to leave the kitchen (including oven and dishwasher) in a clean and tidy condition.

9. Liability
Aparthotel Sterngucker is not liable for:
– Theft, loss or damage, in whatever manner, during or as a result of staying in our accommodation.
– The malfunctioning or not functioning of technical equipment in the accommodation.
– Photos, brochures and other informational material published by a third party.
– Inaccuracies (errors or mistakes) in the brochure, web page, or other announcements.
The tenant is severally liable for all loss and/or damage to the rental property and its contents, irrespective of whether this was caused through actions or refraining from actions by the tenant or any third party present at the rental property with the consent of the tenant.
Incorrect use of the property and/or not leaving the accommodation in the condition as stipulated in the general terms and conditions (house rules) can result in additional (cleaning) charges being passed on to the tenant.

10. Complaints
Any complaints during your stay must be made to Aparthotel Sterngucker within 24 hours to enable Aparthotel Sterngucker to take appropriate action. If a complaint has not been resolved satisfactorily, you, the tenant, must make a written complaint to Aparthotel Sterngucker no later than 4 weeks after your stay, stating all relevant details. If the tenant does not follow the abovementioned complaints procedure, he or she will lose the right to compensation, where such right to compensation exists.

11. Newsletter
By submitting your personal information on this website, you give us permission to use this information to send you newsletters and details of special offers. In accordance with our privacy policy, we do not pass on your personal information to any third party, unless we are obliged to do so by law or by order of the court, or unless we have your express consent to do so.
